Once per week, our children participate in chapel with our Director of Student and Family ministries.
Children hear Bible stories, sing songs about God, participate in discussions & pray. Classroom teachers stay & participate with their students & use songs & lessons learned from chapel in their classrooms.
The overriding themes of the chapel curriculum are communication with God through prayer, God’s unconditional love for us, & the belief that Jesus is God’s son. Old Testament stories predominate the fall season. Advent is a time of joyous celebration which culminates in Christmas & the birth of Jesus. New Testament stories are emphasized in the spring.
